Ascent 1100

Use:

• Medium-weight bag for any use, thanks to its great insulation and generous sizing. Rab recommends its use for mountaineering, expeditions, trekking, or hiking in intensely cold conditions.
• The regular size sleeping bag is for individuals up to 1.85 meters tall. The large XL size is for individuals up to 2 meters tall.
• The European standard EN13537, which regulates the thermal performance of sleeping bags, cannot be applied to this bag because this standard applies to bags with a fill weight of up to 800g. This bag has a fill weight of 1100g. Apart from this standard, Rab conducts parallel temperature studies for all its bags. For this bag, Rab recommends a limit temperature of use of -25ºC.
• Available with left-hand zip and right-hand zip. Two bags with opposing zips can be joined.

Features:

• Wide semi-rectangular mummy cut for freedom of movement inside.
• The foot box is wide and angled to allow feet to maintain a natural position during rest.
• Down distribution through trapezoidal baffles prevents the down from shifting or migrating to other baffles.
• YKK zip with anti-snag system, 3/4 length. Protective thermal draft tube along the entire zip improves insulation and prevents snags from the slider.
• Ergonomic, down-filled thermal neck collar to improve insulation by sealing heat inside the bag.
• Perimeter adjustment drawcord in the hood area.
• Features an internal YKK zipped pocket to store valuables or items you want to keep close while sleeping.
• Sold with a large cotton storage sack and a compression stuff sack for transport during outings.

Materials:

• 650 cuin (1100g) European down with hydrophobic treatment that provides an excellent level of insulation without increasing its weight. Includes fluorocarbon-free technology developed in collaboration with Nikwax; with this treatment, the down absorbs less water and dries more quickly. The down has been hand-filled in the UK.
• Recycled Pertex Quantum outer fabric (50g/m², DWR, 30D) very lightweight, windproof, breathable, and prevents down leakage. With an excellent balance between durability and lightness. With fluorocarbon-free DWR water-repellent treatment. 
• Recycled Nylon inner fabric (38g/m², 20D) very lightweight.
